Puppy Love

Teni and Chase's dog Mena has gotten to spend a little quality time at our house lately and Lucie LOVES having her around!  My mom took her to Lake Placid for the week while Teni and Chase are on vacation and Lucie has been asking about her constantly.  Just yesterday she told me, "Mena's the best!"  Maybe we need a puppy in our new home...

We spent last weekend in Washington D.C. visiting Uncle Johnny and Aunt Tracie.  Lucie had lots of fun running around the waterfront in Georgetown while we had dinner and drinks outside in the 75 degree weather! 

We went to the National Zoo and saw elephants, pandas, tigers, and more, though Lucie's favorite thing there was this stroller...

We also got to see our friends The Howarths.  Lucie and Olivia had so much fun playing together!

In case you didn't quite catch Lucie's announcement...check out her new t-shirt (thanks, Blancos for the super cute idea). Baby Revette #2 is on the way! Estimated arrival date around August 22nd.

Our Little Performer

I have been a major blogging slacker, but in all fairness, I have been trying to capture a tune on video for close to two months now! The second I take out the camera Lucie stops what she is doing and says, "I want to see." I think she finally gets it now and was willing to perform a few of her fav tunes for me this afternoon. Check out her rendition of Twinkle, twinkle. She also does a mean Itsy Bitsy Spider and Happy Birthday, but we'll save those for another day.
