Our Little Performer

I have been a major blogging slacker, but in all fairness, I have been trying to capture a tune on video for close to two months now! The second I take out the camera Lucie stops what she is doing and says, "I want to see." I think she finally gets it now and was willing to perform a few of her fav tunes for me this afternoon. Check out her rendition of Twinkle, twinkle. She also does a mean Itsy Bitsy Spider and Happy Birthday, but we'll save those for another day.

Happy Halloween from our little bumblebee! Ben did put on the beekeeper suit in the back yard, but I don't think he'd appreciate me making those photos public!

We can't believe where the year has gone! We celebrated Lucie's birthday with KuKu, Medzbaba, Aunties, friends, and a surprise visit from Grandma & Grandpa Revette!

11 Months Old!

It is hard to believe that our little girl is 11 months old already! These days Lucie is into everything and anything. She is extremely verbal, even though we're not always sure exactly what she is trying to tell us. She sometimes takes on a lecturing tone and waves her arms around trying to explain to us. She adores dogs and says "dog" (de de de) and "woof" (f f f) whenever we see one. She especially likes reading to us and even better if there is a dog in the book! Lucie also loves giving hugs and kisses...to mom and dad if we're lucky...and often to stuffed animals, photos, books, and just yesterday...a measuring cup!
