TOH Reader Remodel

I am so excited to share the news—FINALLY—that the kitchen is DONE!  I'm so impressed with my husband's work that I am submitting our remodel to This Old House magazine.  Who knows... maybe we'll be featured as a reader remodel!  But in the meantime, this is what our new kitchen looks like!

Backyard Barn Wedding Take 3!

It is hard to believe it, but all three Minnetyan sisters are now married off. Teni and Chase decided to follow suit with their wedding and celebrate their big day under a tent at our family home. Though they included plenty of original details making this "back yard wedding part 3" a truly unique and beautiful event!

First Day of Pre-School!

Lucie's First Day of pre-school!

Lucie was VERY excited for her first official day of pre-school!  She skipped half way to school as we walked the 3 blocks and she was EVEN pretty cooperative with the picture taking which is a bit uncharacteristic of our oldest daughter.  This girl is ready for school!

Eva Turns 1!

 

Since we have no kitchen and the forecast was for rain all day, we decided the best thing to do would be to throw a party!  OK... so not a real party, but we did invite family to spend the afternoon celebrating our little Bean's first birthday.  

With the help of my sister and the next door neighbor's kitchen, we were able to bake some Chocolate Labradoodle pupcakes!

And though it did take her a few minutes to warm up to the cake...

She got there eventually!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, beautiful, funny baby girl!  We love you Eva Bean!

Kitchen progress?

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Revette, the kitchen demo is officially underway.  I do think we are going to love our new more open kitchen/dining area... eventually.

 It was so great to be home for the whole week leading up to the wedding, especially since our visits to West Stockholm are numbered now.  KuKu and Medzbaba have had an offer accepted on a house around the corner from us in Hamilton...yeah... can't wait for Friday nights at KuKu's house! :)
