Christmas With The Revettes

Grandma and Grandpa Revette and Redel, Anna, and Dave made the trip up to Potsdam on Saturday to celebrate Christmas and for Lucie's baptism. Check out Lucie's mini hammer home made from 4 Oaks Tree Farm in DeRuyter!

Christmas Diva

Lucie enjoyed her first Christmas in Potsdam. She is clapping at everything these days (even in her sleep) and points at lots of things. Grandma KuKu taught her "where is the Christmas tree?" and she points every time! Though sometimes if you ask her "where is daddy?" she points to the Christmas tree then too.

Aunt Redel - FINALLY!

Lucie is a lucky girl to have so many Aunts and Uncles living so close by. She finally got to meet her Auntie Redel who lives way out in Portland, Oregon over Thanksgiving. Yeah!

First Turkey Day!

We celebrated Thanksgiving and Lucie's very first Turkey Day with lots of snow and family and friends on Paradise Hill in DeRuyter. Lucie watched the turkey deep fry in the gargage, went on her first sled ride and "helped" make her first snowman.































Here is the whole Thanksgiving crew minus Ben who took the shot and Lucie who was napping after all the festivities!

And we were lucky enough to stop in for Ugly Sweater Thanksgiving #2 on Saturday at the Jacobson's!

Happy Half Birthday To Me!

We celebrated Lucie's 6 month birthday with half a carrot cake (Daddy's favorite) and lots of giggles (thanks to Aunt Marta)!

Lucie is keeping very busy these days blowing bubbles and chatting it up. She is still growing like a weed although maybe starting to slow down a bit. She weighed in at 18 lbs, 5 ounces and 27 inches long - the 90th percentile for both height and weight.

Her main mode of transportation is rolling...














Ben thinks she is going to crawl any day now, but Sona thinks she is waiting for her first Thanksgiving in DeRuyter and all that brain stimulation...

Bananas!

Today we started Lucie on solid foods. We're not quite sure how she feels about bananas. You be the judge...

Play Date Weekends

Lucie got to hang out with June (our downstairs neighbor) the other day. They were so cute together. They just sat there looking at each other and smiling for a good 15 minutes! We also got to have a play date with Wes and Colton last weekend and got to see Richie and meet Vanessa Blanco this weekend. Too bad mom keeps forgetting to take pictures!

Lucie loves her new big girl chair! No food to go with it yet, but she is ready!

Our Little Pumpkin

Lucie is 5 months old today and to celebrate we took our first trip to the pumpkin patch at Russell Orchards. Mom, Zido, and Grandma KuKu loved the cider donuts, but Lucie took a special liking to this little pumpkin.

4 Month Check-Up and a tooth (or two)!

We had our 4 month check up today. Miss Lucie weighed in at 16 pounds, 5 ounces and 26.5 inches long! She is "thriving" as our doctor put it...92nd percentile both height and weight. She has averaged about 2 pounds a month since birth, but we thought this would slow down by now! She has also been drooling and chewing on everything in reach. Two days ago, we noticed her first tooth was about to break through and today we found that her second tooth is just behind.

Play Date With the Wells Family

Lucie and Richie had a play date in the North End. I think Richie's favorite part of the day was the water at the park while Ben's favorite was definitely the PBRs on the roof deck!

Mohawk Baby

Lucie has had a mohawk (and mullet) since birth. As she grows, the only part of her hair that seems to grow with her is the little tuft on top creating her adorable fohawk. Gotta love the little mohawk baby...

First Time at the Beach!

We went to Meg and Brian's wedding on Cape Cod this weekend and Lucie got to check out the beach. She wasn't too sure about her toes in the scratchy sand, but she did seem to like her feet in the water!

Hiking at Horse Pond

Lucie and I hiked with Patty and PJ today while Ben and Pat went mountain biking. Lucie liked her first hike and loves to be outside! Check out those pictures of Lucie and PJ. Hmm...does Wes have competition?

First Giggle

Lucie and I met Alyce and Wes in Newburyport today and while staring at Wes, Lucie laughed for the first time! It was so cute. Needless to say, Ben isn't too happy about Lucie's first laugh being at a cute boy. We may have a little flirt on our hands!

Two Months Old Already...

We really can't believe how quickly the time has gone, but our little girl is 2 months old already. Check out that double chin! We just got back from a trip to New York over the 4th to visit DeRuyter and Potsdam.
